Runs really smooth no problems my only concern is the sound it sounds kinda bad.

this game has the worst grafics ever, if you are going to waste 15$, buy vise city a much better game

I just got this game and started playing it, it lags like CRAZY!!!! and the graphics are AWFUL!!!!! What a waste of money, at least its only 7 bucks!

This game works flawlessly on my MacBook Pro with 4 GB RAM. Great framerate and the sounds are all in the right spots. Of course, this game is from 2001, so dont expect it to look like Crysis or anything. Overall though, this is a great port of GTA III for Mac. Dont waste your time on torrents that may or may not work, drop the 15 bucks and take the game that influenced a generation on the go!

This game runs and looks better on my 2.66GHz Core 2 Duo iMac than it does on my Playstation 2. Im using a real PS2 controller and a USB adapter. I also have the iOS version of the game, which allows the player to easily redo a failed mission and has an autosave function. Unfortunately this version is more like the old PC version, which has neither of those features. Still, the game is fantastic. Id give it a fifth star if it were innovative though. For example, if savegame synchronization between PCs or with the iOS version were implemented. That would be impressive and give the player a great experience!

This game works perfectly on my macbook pro 15 inch! The graphics are good and the sound is great. The only small complaint is it will lag for a couple seconds occasionally. But its no big deal, it doesnt affect the game at all! Love this game I totally recommend it!!

This is my FAVORITE game in the GTA series. But the only thing wrong with this game is that it doesnt work with my PS3 controller. Other than that, this is a terrific game. If you liked Red Dead Redemption, you will enjoy this.

Love this game, i am happy to pay 10 bucks to have this on my MBP, runs great, might get gampad companion to play with my ps3 controller

The game is soo fun to play I look forward to play it everyday… the only thing that I would do to make it better is if you can 1)swim 2)get a boat 3) get a helicopter but besides that it amazing

Now if only made the other games compatible for mac as well. like GTA Liberty City Stories, GTA Vice City Stories, GTA IV and Red Dead Redemption That would be Awsome

The graphics need much improvement. The cars do not drive realistically, and you dont even have a 360º view of the game: instead or turning and walking, the charater just side-steps. You have little control and little instruction. I wish I had my $10 back.

It lags and skips time to time when and it doesnt help when im on a mission. the screen just skips and freezes… please fix this.

i want my money back right away. this game and vice city both crash and lag. i want my money back this game is the worst fix it up. the only good game you made was san andreas. that i admit is an awesome game but gta 3 and vice city are horrible and i want my money back. i paid a lot for it and it wasnt worth the money. so i want it back and you coud have your game back.

really fun game, but i cant give it the full 5 stars until i can get a map so i can go where i wanna go in the game

GTA III was the premier 3D open world criminal playground. It revolutionized what 3D games meant and where the sandbox genre could go. That said, it originally came out more than 10 years ago, and while some parts are timeless, some aspects of the game havent exactly aged well. A "retry mission" button, a better map screen, and other minor tweaks hold this game back. Still, its undoubtedly a classic and a must-play for any fan of video games. However, if you want a more refined GTA experience through the Mac App store, Id recommend San Andreas. Also theres some sort of tinny sund that persists when I play the game with headphones. Ive tried with multiple pairs and it keeps going no matter what.

really awesome game and it would be cool to have max payne maybe?
